Dogs can detect words and colors
Dogs, like us, have their own opinions, but when dogs are affected by certain actions of their owners, their opinions may change. Therefore, certain actions of the owner have a great effect on the dog.
Dogs themselves are very intelligent creatures, but sometimes they are also fooled by our body language. Under normal circumstances, when faced with two piles of different food, dogs will choose the larger portion. But as long as we do a little trick and pick up the relatively small pile, we can affect the dog's choice.
After so many years of getting along with people, they have learned to detect words and colors in the process of being domesticated, which helps them live better. . Researchers recruited 149 pet dog owners and then brought their dogs to the laboratory for experiments. They conducted a series of experiments, including one in which dogs were placed two plates in front of them, one containing only one piece of food and the other containing six. The food in front of the dogs in the other tests was the same. The other dogs are free to use the food plate. Some dog owners looked at one of the plates; picked up all of them and put them in front of the dogs to talk to them. The researchers combined various situations, such as picking up a piece of food and saying to the dog, "Look, this is great!" while looking at the dog.
Generally speaking, 73% of the dogs participating in the experiment knew to choose the plate with more food without the owner's intervention. However, once the owner intervened, the dogs' choices began to waver, and in the end they chose the smaller portion. Under two conditions, the impact on the dog is very great: one is to pick up all the food and pause it in front of the dog's mouth for five seconds, and then put it back; the other is to talk to the dog in addition to the previous behavior, And always looking at the dog. Even if the person is not around when the choice is made, the dog will still be "expressed" by us. In other words, dogs will make choices about food under our instructions. From this point of view, many times, some of our actions may affect dogs. We can make good use of this when training dogs.
